About This Role

Who We Are & What We Do
The Swiss International Scientific School in Dubai (SISD) is a distinguished international day and boarding institution dedicated to nurturing confident, curious, and compassionate lifelong learners. Located in the dynamic heart of Dubai, our goal is to equip students with the crucial knowledge, skills, and values necessary to thrive in a constantly changing global environment.

Global Curriculum
At SISD, we deliver the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum from Pre-Kindergarten (PreKG) to Grade 12, alongside the Swiss Baccalaureate program commencing in Grade 6. As an authorized IB Continuum World School, we provide the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), IB Diploma Programme (DP), and the IB Career-related Programme (CP). Additionally, we take pride in our affiliations with Nord Anglia Education, the Council of International Schools (CIS), the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS), and the European Council of International Schools (ECIS).

Multilingual Education That Opens Doors
SISD offers three distinct educational pathways, focusing on fostering international-mindedness, enhancing skills, and acquiring knowledge essential for engaging with diverse cultures:
• IB Bilingual English/French (with Arabic)
• IB Bilingual English/German (with Arabic)
• IB with additional languages (French/German with Arabic) and a specialized STEAM* program from PreKG to Grade 5.

Committed to Safeguarding
At SISD, safeguarding is a top priority as we strive to create a secure and supportive environment for all students and staff, enabling everyone to thrive and learn. We follow safer recruitment practices in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education and the International Task Force on Child Protection. All appointments are contingent upon an interview and thorough vetting processes, which include identity verification, online social media evaluations, criminal record checks from current and home countries, work eligibility in the UAE, and Barring & Prohibition checks.
