About This Role

Who We Are & What We Do
The Swiss International Scientific School in Dubai (SISD) stands as a leading international day and boarding institution, devoted to cultivating confident, inquisitive, and empathetic lifelong learners. Situated in the vibrant city of Dubai, our mission is to provide students with the essential knowledge, skills, and values to excel in an ever-evolving global landscape.

Global Curriculum
At SISD, we implement the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework from Pre-Kindergarten (PreKG) through Grade 12, alongside the Swiss Baccalaureate program beginning in Grade 6. As an authorized IB Continuum World School, we are proud to offer the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), IB Diploma Programme (DP), and the IB Career-related Programme (CP).
We are also esteemed members of the Nord Anglia Education, the Council of International Schools (CIS), the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS), and the European Council of International Schools (ECIS).

Multilingual Education That Opens Doors
SISD provides three distinct educational streams, focusing on fostering international-mindedness, enhancing skills, and acquiring knowledge about diverse cultures:
• IB Bilingual English/French (with Arabic)
• IB Bilingual English/German (with Arabic)
• IB with additional languages (French/German with Arabic) and a tailored STEAM* program from PreKG to Grade 5.

Committed to Safeguarding
SISD prioritizes safeguarding and is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive atmosphere for all students and staff, where everyone can thrive and learn. We adhere to rigorous safer recruitment practices in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education and the International Task Force on Child Protection. All hiring decisions are contingent upon interviews and comprehensive vetting processes, including identity verification, online social media reviews, criminal background checks from both the country of residence and home country, right to work in the UAE, and Barring & Prohibition checks.
