About This Role

Set within a scenic green campus in Tervuren, conveniently situated near the vibrant cities of Leuven and Brussels, we offer exceptional facilities alongside a warm, welcoming community.

What sets BSB apart is not only the quality of our educational programs but also our unique approach to learning. We prioritize strong relationships, a sense of belonging, and a steadfast dedication to excellence in every aspect of school life. Our students are encouraged to pursue ambitious goals, broaden their horizons, and thrive academically, personally, and socially.

From our customized inquiry-based Primary curriculum to our extensive range of options at Post-16 (A Levels, IB Diploma, and BTEC), as well as a comprehensive enrichment program featuring hundreds of activities each week, BSB provides remarkable opportunities for every student. Our graduates gain admission to renowned universities worldwide, a reflection of a culture rooted in care, curiosity, and collaboration.

We welcome applications from qualified and experienced educators who can bring genuine passion to our school. We are seeking exceptional teachers who are eager to make a significant contribution to our vibrant community.

Our students

BSB enjoys an impressive track record of academic achievement, with students advancing to a wide array of esteemed universities globally. In the field of Languages, our students not only achieve outstanding examination results but also find joy in learning languages, while developing cultural awareness and the communication skills essential for their future studies or careers.

Languages taught

The Secondary school at BSB currently provides instruction in French, German, Spanish, and Dutch. Both French and Dutch, the two primary national languages, are available at First and Second Language levels. French is taught as the first additional language across all grades and is mandatory for students until the end of Year 11. The second additional language is required from Year 7 to Year 9 and becomes optional in Years 10 and 11. Nevertheless, over two-thirds of each cohort choose to continue both languages for certification at the end of Year 11. Offered qualifications include IGCSE for German, Spanish, and French Second Language; DELF B2 for French First Language; and CNaVT B1 or B2 for Dutch.

All four languages are also available at the post-16 level, either as GCE A levels or as part of the IB Diploma.

The Modern Languages (ML) Faculty

We seek an individual who can actively contribute to enhancing our faculty's vision during this exciting time.
