FTE/Hours: 0.01 per week
Brandon School Division is inviting applications from passionate individuals interested in joining our team as Uncertified Substitute Teachers for the 2026/27 academic year. Candidates should demonstrate a talent for engaging with children and possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. A readiness to work collaboratively within a team environment as well as independently with minimal oversight while maintaining a professional demeanor is crucial. Preference will be given to individuals who have a degree and/or diploma from an accredited institution. We particularly encourage those with experience in supporting children with diverse needs, coaching, providing childcare, or engaging in youth leadership roles to apply.
Key Information
- Successful candidates will be required to attend a three-day unpaid training session during the summer months.
- Completing this training is a prerequisite for being eligible to work as an uncertified substitute teacher.
- Since you will not possess a teaching certification, the Brandon School Division will assist you in applying for a Limited Teaching Permit.
