About This Role

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and conscientious colleague to join our highly successful SEND department. Inclusion is a clear strength of our school and this is reflected in our Ofsted Inclusion rating of Strong Standard (November, 2025). The role will also require you to work closely with the school’s examination team as well as external agencies. You will also be a vital part of our schools SEND identification process by carrying out screeners and assessments which will inform support for our students.

The working hours are 22.5 hours per week, Term Time only (plus training days). There is an element of flexibility in the working pattern for the right candidate so we will be happy to discuss this further.

We are committed to the protection and safety of our students and the successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

We reserve the right to invite candidates for interview prior to the closing date and to close vacancies early if we have sufficient suitable applications. Therefore, we encourage interested applicants to apply as soon as possible.

For any queries or further information, please contact Anika Cosgrove on a.cosgrove@mrus.co.uk or 01234 290 244.

We look forward to receiving your application!

The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment
