About This Role

CPSTA1

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our Acorns Nursery Class at Catcliffe Primary School. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with our youngest learners, supporting their early communication, play, independence and emotional development at the very start of their school journey.

The successful candidate will work as part of our highly supportive Early Years team, helping to create a warm, safe and stimulating learning environment where children feel secure, valued and excited to learn. You will support learning through play, small-group activities and routines, helping children to develop their language, social skills and early foundations for learning.

Catcliffe Primary School is a welcoming, inclusive school with a strong woodland ethos where children are supported to grow in confidence, curiosity and independence. Our Acorns Class is designed to provide a nurturing start to school, with a strong focus on relationships, communication and early learning.

This post is for 32.5 hours per week, term-time only, working Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will be kind, patient and passionate about supporting young children, and will enjoy working as part of a close-knit team committed to providing the very best start for every child.
