About This Role

We are seeking a Teacher of Social Science to join our growing and successful Social Science department.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is keen to inspire students and contribute to the continued development of a popular subject area at GCSE and A Level. Applications are welcome

from both experienced teachers and ECTs.

The Role

As a Teacher of Social Science, you will:

  • Teach Social Science subjects across KS4 and KS5
  • Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive and well‑sequenced lessons
  • Assess and monitor student progress, using data to inform teaching
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive department
  • Support subject enrichment and promote a strong culture of
  • achievement
  • Uphold high expectations for learning, behaviour and wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate

  • We are looking for someone who:
  • Is a strong classroom practitioner with a passion for Social Sciences
  • Has experience of, or the ability to teach, Social Science subjects at KS4 and KS5.
  • Is reflective, organised and committed to continuous professional development
  • Builds positive relationships with students and colleagues
  • Shares our commitment to inclusion, wellbeing and high aspirations for all
