Egypt British International School (EBIS) is on the lookout for a dedicated and seasoned EYFS Classroom Teacher to become part of our team for the upcoming 2026 academic year. We seek an enthusiastic early years educator who is dedicated to nurturing curiosity, creativity, and confidence within a supportive, culturally relevant British-curriculum framework. The ideal candidate will create a dynamic and encouraging environment that fosters children’s academic, social, and emotional growth in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.
Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field, with recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or its equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years of successful teaching experience in an EYFS setting, ideally within a British or international school.
• Thorough understanding of the EYFS Framework and early years teaching methodologies.
• Experience implementing play-based and inquiry-driven learning strategies.
• Proficient in observation, assessment, and tracking early years progress.
• Strong classroom management capabilities suited for early childhood environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Job Description:
• Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that adhere to the EYFS Framework.
• Foster a secure, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages exploration and independence.
• Observe, assess, and document children’s development using both formative and summative evaluation methods.
• Provide tailored support to accommodate individual learning and developmental requirements.
• Maintain precise records and reports in accordance with school policies and safeguarding standards.
• Build strong relationships with parents/guardians to enhance children’s learning and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school-wide initiatives.
• Encourage positive behavior, social skills, and emotional resilience.
• Participate in weekly CPD sessions and pursue ongoing professional growth.
• Engage in enrichment activities and school events.
