The Egypt British International School (EBIS) is on the lookout for a passionate and motivated Co-Teacher to become part of our team for the 2026 academic year, in keeping with our mission: Enriching – Exploring – Excelling, and our core values of enrichment, empowerment, esteem, and excellence.

We are in search of a nurturing and proactive educator dedicated to fostering the academic, social, and emotional growth of students within a supportive, culturally rich British-curriculum setting. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Class Teacher to provide exceptional learning experiences, ensuring all students are encouraged to reach their fullest potential.

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
● Teaching qualification or diploma in education (preferred).
● Prior experience in a school environment, ideally within a British or international school.
● Strong knowledge of child development and inclusive teaching practices.
● Capability to assist students with diverse learning needs, including EAL and additional support as needed.
● Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
● Capacity to work effectively and professionally as part of a team.

Job Description:

● Assist the Class Teacher in the planning and implementation of lessons in accordance with the UK National Curriculum.
● Help prepare learning materials and classroom resources.
● Work with individual students and small groups to reinforce learning and provide focused support.
● Contribute to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and organized classroom atmosphere.
● Track and document student progress under the guidance of the Class Teacher.
● Support behavior management consistent with school policies.
● Promote student wellbeing and social-emotional growth.
● Assist with supervision duties, school events, and enrichment initiatives.
● Participate in relevant CPD sessions and engage in ongoing professional development.

Compensation
