Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct the Secondary English department to ensure excellence in teaching and learning outcomes.
- Create curriculum plans that align with international standards and address the diverse needs of students.
- Provide support and mentorship to teachers within the department to encourage their professional development.
- Track student progress and devise strategies to enhance academic performance.
- Work collaboratively with school leadership on strategic initiatives related to the English curriculum.
- Cultivate a positive educational atmosphere that promotes creativity, critical thinking, and scholarly achievement.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in English or Education (Master’s degree is preferred).
- At least 5 years of teaching experience in secondary education along with demonstrated leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of international curricula applicable to secondary English education.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to motivate both staff and students in the pursuit of academic excellence.
- Proficient in leveraging technology to enhance educational experiences.
