Part time - 7 hours per week (Fridays only), 40 weeks per year – (term time plus one week)

SFCA Support Spine Band 4, point 11 - £28,634 pro rata per annum

Actual salary £4,750.51 per annum

The Role

We currently have a vacancy for a 3D Design Instructor/Technician to support the Visual Arts team on Fridays. This role involves supporting teachers to resource and run lessons but also some practical/safety demonstrations to groups or individual support 1 to 1 helping students with their design work. You will be a practical, adaptable individual, who has the ability to organise and maintain workshop machinery and equipment both traditional and digital. You will also have a working knowledge (or willingness to learn) of CAD processes - 3D printing and laser cutting. Previous experience in working in a technical support role with students in a workshop is essential.

 

Please note, more hours may be available from September 2026, once student numbers are confirmed.
