About This Role

We are seeking an exceptional Academic Support Specialist to join the successful department at Institut auf dem Rosenberg, one of the world’s leading boarding schools. The role involves teaching across the whole school (K–12), inspiring high-achieving international students at all grade levels. Experience and confidence with mathematical and English as an Additional Language (EAL) knowledge is a plus.

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who

  • employ modern teaching techniques and have a proven track record of excellent academic results, classroom management and in-class differentiation.  

  • have a proven record of accomplishment of teaching students of all age groups and differentiating effectively in the classroom.  

  • experience of working with students in groups and in 1:1 settings to support a diverse range of learning needs

  • good knowledge and application of mixed learning methods as well as understanding and theoretical knowledge of diverse student needs

  • are willing to develop and implement the Rosenberg International Curriculum.  

  • are interested to take an active part in the Institut auf dem Rosenberg’s extensive Talent & Enrichment programme.  

  • have the ability to lead on projects and work independently.

Requirements - ideal candidates will have: 

  • an appropriate degree with PGCE or equivalent teaching-qualification.  

  • a minimum of 2 years' teaching experience.  

  • confident with mathematical knowledge and supporting students in programmes of study

  • confident with supporting students in developing their understanding of vocabulary and written English skills

  • experience of working in an international setting with diverse cultures and backgrounds  

  • dedication to the ongoing development and excellence of Institut auf dem Rosenberg and a commitment to the school's values and ethos.
