RAK Academy - Al Hamra

Located in the south of Ras Al Khaimah in the Al Hamra community. RAK Academy – Al Hamra is a growing primary and lower secondary school delivering an adapted UK National Curriculum from Pre-K to Grade 8 alongside the UAE MOE subjects. Grades 6 to 8 form our brand-new secondary school, opening its doors for the first time in August 2026. We are accredited by the British Schools Overseas (BSO), benchmarked against leading international British schools and are able to fully deliver the ECT induction to teachers.

The Role

We are seeking a proactive and efficient Administration Assistant to support the daily operations of our school in Al Rams. This key role involves providing high-quality administrative support to the Heads of School and academic leaders, ensuring smooth coordination across staff, students, and parents. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. This is a vital position at the heart of our school community.

Essential

  • Bachelors’ degree desirable but not mandatory.

  • Experience of at least 2 years working in a similar position.

  • Bi-lingual - good standard of both English and Arabic (written, reading, and spoken).

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines under pressure while delivering excellent outcomes.

  • Confident in using a range of IT systems, including Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.

  • Ability and/or knowledge of school communications apps and software systems (iSams, Dojo, Learning ladders, etc) – desirable but not mandatory.

  • Able to analyse and synthesis key information and data efficiently and accurately.

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, showing initiative and an ability to work well with a diverse range of people.

  • Interpersonal skills, able to operate in a diverse and multi-cultural environment.

  • Loyalty to the Academy and a willingness to support the positive image of the academy both externally and internally.

Compensation

£35,000 - £55,000 (Tax-Free Equivalent)
