Job Overview
To provide efficient, effective, and high-level administrative and operational support across a range of functions within Langdon Park School. The role is key to ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of central support services, maintaining excellent organisational standards, and delivering a professional and responsive service to staff, students, and stakeholders.
The postholder will uphold the schoolβs safeguarding responsibilities at all times, ensuring strict confidentiality and promoting a culture of trust, compliance, and outstanding customer service.
Duties and responsibilities include
Acting as the first point of contact for parents, carers, students, staff, visitors, and contractors in a polite, professional, and efficient manner.
Operating a busy switchboard, accurately directing calls and taking messages for prompt dispatch.
Maintaining effective filing systems (paper and electronic), ensuring documentation is accessible and up to date.
Receiving and welcoming visitors.
Bengali speaking.
This is a 1 year, fixed term position.
Monday to Friday 8am β 4pm Term Time + 2 weeks
The successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references in line with safeguarding requirements.
