About This Role

Solihull School is the Sunday Times West Midlands Independent School of the Year. Renowned for being a happy, ambitious and inclusive school, offering an education packed full of opportunities, we get to know every child individually, nurturing and encouraging them to achieve their full potential.

Getting to know every child as an individual starts even before they have joined the school. We are looking for an Admissions Officer to join our busy team, to help us recruit pupils at all ages who will thrive at Solihull.

Whether you're an experienced administrator, an aspiring admissions professional, or a graduate ready to build a rewarding career, this is an exciting opportunity to join our warm, collaborative Admissions team and to make a real difference to the next generation of Solihull pupils.

As our Admissions Officer, you'll play a key role in supporting prospective families through every stage of their journey with Solihull, from attending an Open Day to accepting an offer of a place. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, confident, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, and while experience in an educational environment is desirable, it is not required - we welcome applications from those with transferable skills and a passion for working with people.

We offer excellent working conditions, an attractive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package, alongside the chance to grow within a supportive and forward‑thinking school community.

The closing date for the return of completed applications is 12 noon Wednesday 15th April 2026.

If you have any queries, please contact Hayley Miles, Head of HR on 0121 705 0958 or milesh@solsch.org.uk.
