Arabic as a Foreign Language (AFL) & Islamic Studies Teacher
The Hamilton International School is seeking a passionate Arabic as a Foreign Language (AFL) & Islamic Studies Teacher to join our dynamic international community. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Arabic and Islamic Studies lessons, promote cultural understanding and values, and support students of all abilities to achieve their fullest potential.
What You Will Do
Teach AFL across Secondary levels and Islamic Studies aligned with MoEHE guidelines.
Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that promote language development, cultural identity, and Islamic values.
Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and inform teaching.
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Build positive relationships with students and parents.
Contribute to curriculum development and wider school life.
Uphold safeguarding and professional standards.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree in English Language
Teaching certification recognized by Qatar MoEHE.
Arabic speaker with strong English proficiency.
Minimum 3 years’ teaching experience in AFL and/or Islamic Studies.
IB Arabic B / Ab Initio exposure preferred but not required.
Experience in international school settings is an advantage.
