About This Role

Yas School is currently seeking to recruit a high-performing Arabic Literacy Coach to join our team in August 2026 for the AY 2026-2027 or sooner if possible.

At Yas School, we deliver the Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum and have a special focus on inclusive education, enrichment and preparing future ready learners. Founded in 2015, we are the largest single-campus K-12 government school educating 1750+ girls and boys on our extensive campus.

We are seeking a proven practitioner, with expertise in UK or US curricula, and ideally experience with the UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) curriculum. 


As an Arabic Literacy Coach, you will be responsible for implementing targeted Arabic Literacy strategies as described in the Arabic Literacy improvement plan: providing coaching and support for targeted teachers, team teaching, supporting the delivery of student intervention programs and developing effective instructional plans and resources. 


The successful candidate should: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Post Graduate Diploma in Education

• Master’s Degree in Education/Educational Leadership or a related field is an advantage

• Proficiency in English (demonstrated by a minimum IELTS score of 6 or equivalent)

• Bilingual skills (English & Arabic) are mandatory

• UAE Certified Teaching License/ equivalent, or working towards attainment

• At least 4 years of classroom teaching experience in either English or Arabic subject area

• Prior experience of coaching is an advantage.

Candidate Requirements

  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 2 years verifiable post-qualification teaching experience.
  • Demonstrable track record of excellent student outcomes.
  • A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
  • Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
