Olga Gudynn International School (OGIS) is seeking to appoint a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join our secondary team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to teach Art across Key Stages 3–5, inspiring students to develop creativity, technical skills, and confidence in visual expression.
The successful candidate will contribute to a vibrant learning environment where artistic exploration and critical thinking are encouraged.
Key Responsibilities
● Teach Art across KS3–KS5 ● Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in a range of artistic disciplines ● Prepare students for GCSE/IGCSE and A Level (or equivalent) Art examinations ● Assess, monitor, and support student progress ● Encourage creativity, experimentation, and independent thinking ● Contribute to the wider life of the school, including exhibitions and enrichment activities ● A degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related subject ● PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification ● Experience teaching Art at secondary level ● Strong subject knowledge across a range of artistic media ● Excellent classroom management and communication skills ● Passion for inspiring creativity in young people ● A supportive and welcoming teaching environment ● Opportunities for professional development and career progression ● Competitive salary and benefits package ● Engaged and motivated students Please submit your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.
