Job Summary Anglo Singapore International School is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and experienced Art Teacher to join our Korat campus in May / June 2026. This role is primarily focused on Primary Art, with the ability to teach Lower Secondary Art, and the possibility of expansion to IGCSE Art as the Arts programme develops. The successful candidate will inspire creativity, curiosity, and confidence in students while building strong foundational skills in the visual arts. Teach Art primarily in the Primary School, using engaging, age-appropriate, and student-centred approaches. Teach Lower Secondary Art, supporting continuity and progression in artistic skills. Plan and deliver well-structured and differentiated Art lessons that develop creativity, technical skills, and artistic confidence across a range of media. Introduce students to core art concepts, techniques, and visual language in a developmentally appropriate way. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support artistic growth. Maintain an inspiring, inclusive, and well-organised art classroom or studio, ensuring safe use of materials and equipment. Support school-wide art displays, exhibitions, and creative events. Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ creative development and progress. Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-curricular learning and contribute to a coherent Arts programme. Participate in professional development and contribute positively to the wider school community. Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and student wellbeing. Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, Visual Arts, or a related field. Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent). Minimum of 2–3 years’ teaching experience, with Primary Art experience strongly preferred. Ability to teach Lower Secondary Art, with the possibility of expansion to IGCSE Art as the programme develops. Strong proficiency in English for teaching and professional communication. A strong portfolio of student work and/or personal artistic practice, demonstrating range across media and techniques. Experience with curriculum planning and assessment in Art (Cambridge experience is an advantage but not essential). Strong classroom management, organisational, and communication skills. A reflective, creative, and student-centred teaching philosophy.
