CONTRACT: Permanent, Term Time Only plus inset days (39 weeks per year plus inset days)

SALARY: Kent Scale F (FTE £32,140 per annum, actual salary for working 39 weeks per year £28,267.46 per annum)

We are pleased to announce that due to expansion, we are seeking two passionate Assistant SENCos to join our team here at TWGSB. Working closely with the SENCO, you will support the development and implementation of strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, promoting inclusivity and ensuring every child receives the support they require to succeed. · All aspects of the job description are to be carried out within a system of supervision by SENCO. · To manage the day-to-day management of the Inclusion Hubs across TWGSB campuses. · To support teaching staff, SENCO and LSAs to raise the standards of achievement of all students by utilizing advanced levels of knowledge and skills when assisting with planning, monitoring, recording and assessing data on individual and groups of students. To encourage students to be independent learners. · To support all students to be included in all areas of school life and to provide support for their wellbeing. · Contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and young people with regard to the area child protection procedures. The main campus for TWGSB is in Tunbridge Wells. However, you may be required to work at other campuses connected to TWGSB. *** We are currently undergoing a period of transformational change benefitting from a multi-million pound investment in Tunbridge Wells and a brand new building at our Sevenoaks campus, which opened in September 2021.
