As Associate Assistant Headteacher SENDCo, you will play a key role in leading our SEND provision, working closely with staff, students, parents, and external agencies to ensure all learners receive tailored support that enables them to achieve their full potential. Skills and Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or NPQ (SENDCO)
Level 7 qualification in Psychometric Assessment
Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents/carers, colleagues, and external professionals
Excellent organisational skills, including effective time management and accurate record keeping
A commitment to understanding diverse learning needs and adapting approaches accordingly
Willingness to undertake further relevant training related to special educational needs coordination
