About This Role
We require a Behaviour Support Officer who has the ability to make a significant contribution to our school. The successful candidate will work with small groups of students, alongside our teaching staff, or on a one-to-one basis, to help students to achieve their potential and be successful both inside and outside of school, providing support to overcome barriers to learning.
Learning beyond the curriculum with varied and enriching opportunities and experiences is an integral part of the school’s aims. Therefore, the successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a commitment to helping children with their social and emotional development both in and outside of the classroom. They should also have a particular interest in supporting students to gain literacy, numerical and ICT skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with small groups of students and on a one-to-one basis.
- Support students in overcoming barriers to learning.
- Assist in the social and emotional development of children.
- Help students gain literacy, numerical, and ICT skills.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
