About This Role

Raffles International School, Dubai is looking to appoint a qualified and experienced full time Business and Economics Teacher, who has the experience and ability to attain outstanding results and progress. RIS follows the UK National curriculum through all phases of the school.

The Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Business/Economics Teacher to join our Social Sciences department. This permanent position involves teaching Economics at the High/Secondary School level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Economics following the UK curriculum.
  • Develop lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and school activities.
  • Support students’ academic growth and personal development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Education or related field (minimum requirement).
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience in Business or Economics at secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum for Economics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
