About This Role

Imagine helping the next generation to discover their passions, explore opportunities, and take confident steps toward a bright future.  At The Ashcombe School, this is exactly the impact you can have.

Careers education is a cornerstone of our provision, with flagship events such as our annual Careers Fair, Apprenticeship Fair, and an innovative programme of virtual careers events earning recognition both regionally and nationally.

With a Gatsby benchmark-compliant careers programme already in place, we are now looking to build on this strong foundation and take it even further.

The Role

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and develop our whole-school careers programme, reaching all students, with particular focus on those who are disadvantaged
  • Provide personalised guidance at Key Stages 4 and 5, helping students move confidently to the right destinations at 16 and 18
  • Expand our careers events and information-sharing, inspiring students about the possibilities ahead
  • Grow our alumni network, connecting students with real-life role models who motivate and guide

We are seeking a dynamic, creative and empathetic individual regardless of whether you are from education, recruitment, or industry.  If you’re driven to inspire, support and open doors for the next generation, this could be the role for you.

Apply exclusively via the WhatSchool platform.
