At Learning Curves Montessori Lincoln, we have created something special.

With four thoughtfully designed rooms, we are beginning our search for another full time kaiako in our Pentire Room, for children ages 0-18 months old. This is your opportunity to be part of a founding team!

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Is genuinely passionate about early childhood education and making a lasting difference in tamariki lives
  • Teaches with heart, intention, and authenticity
  • Is a collaborative, flexible team player who values shared decision-making
  • Turns goals into action and is committed to continuous professional growth
  • Has strong skills in programme planning, assessment, and evaluation
  • Is interested in the Montessori diploma
  • Authentically weaves Te Whāriki through relationships, curriculum, and daily practice
  • Understands and advocates for the principles of RIE
  • Champions freedom of movement and supports children to develop independence and confidence
  • Strives for excellence and continual improvement in learning environments

We are proud to offer full pay parity, recognising the professionalism, qualifications, and dedication of our kaiako. Your expertise matters, and we are committed to ensuring you are remunerated accordingly.

In addition, we provide:

  • Daily support from an experienced leadership team and centre owners who are on-site
  • A high-quality induction and mentoring programme with an in-house induction and mentoring manager
  • Annual professional development allocations for every kaiako
  • Support toward completing or advancing your Montessori Diploma
  • Childcare discount
  • Regular team-building and connection opportunities
  • A culture where your voice is valued and your wellbeing is prioritised

Applicants must:

  • Be currently living in New Zealand
  • Hold valid NZ work rights
  • Be registered (or eligible for registration) with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand

At Learning Curves Montessori Lincoln, we are not just filling roles — we are building a team of professionals who feel respected, supported, and inspired every day.

If this sounds like you, we would love to kōrero further.
