About This Role

Trinity Private School in Cyprus is looking for a Christian Ethics Teacher who can inspire students in Grades 6–11 to develop critical thinking, ethical reflection, and problem-solving skills through the discussion of Christian values in a modern context.

Our ideal candidate is a teacher who not only educates but continues to learn, grow, and explore personally, and who can communicate with young people in an engaging and relatable way.
Teaching is conducted in English and follows IB principles: inquiry-based learning, P4C, and the development of Learner Profile competencies.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Christian Ethics in English to students in Grades 6–11.

  • Design lesson plans, learning materials, and activities that integrate IB principles, P4C discussion, and Orthodox Christian values.

  • Support students in exploring important questions, connecting Christian values to real-life situations.

  • Foster a classroom environment of respect, dialogue, and open discussion.

  • Participate in school life and the local Orthodox community events in Cyprus.

Requirements

  • Teaching experience, preferably with students aged 6–11.

  • Open, communicative, able to build trust and actively engage students in discussion.

  • English proficiency at B2 level or above.

  • Russian language proficiency (fluent or native level) is required.

  • Willingness to teach according to the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework — training and ongoing support provided.

  • Deep understanding of and personal alignment with the spiritual values of the Orthodox Church, with a readiness to support them within the educational process.

What We Offer

  • Work in an international school with a diverse student body.

  • Training and ongoing support in the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework.

  • Assistance with relocation to Cyprus.

  • Opportunities for professional, personal, and spiritual growth.
