Cover Supervisor

The role of Cover Supervisor is to supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher, under the guidance of teaching/senior staff. Including implementing work programmes, managing pupil behaviours and assisting pupils in relevant activities in line with the school’s policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes during the absence of the class teacher.
• Implement work programmes as directed.
• Manage pupil behaviours effectively.
• Assist pupils in relevant activities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated passion for student achievement.
• Ability to motivate pupils.
• Capability to safely manage classroom activities.
• Experience in managing the physical learning space and classroom resources.
