About You

Caister Academy are seeking an organised, confident, and detail‑driven individual who enjoys working with data and supporting the smooth running of school systems. You will have strong experience using Microsoft Office365 - particularly Excel and Word - and feel comfortable managing information with accuracy and care. While prior knowledge of examination processes is desirable, it isn’t essential; what matters most is your willingness to learn and your commitment to maintaining high standards.

You’ll be someone who can work independently as well as part of a close‑knit team, with the confidence to follow up queries, seek clarification when needed, and communicate clearly in writing. If you take pride in being reliable, proactive, and supportive, and you’re looking for a role where your attention to detail truly makes a difference, we would be excited to hear from you.

Our Ideal candidate will have:

  • GCSE English and Maths, minimum Grade 4 or equivalent

  • Experience in the use of MIS systems

  • Knowledge of academic data, including grading systems

  • Good ICT, oral, and written communication skills

About the Data & Examination Team

The Data & Examination Team is a small, highly organised department that plays a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of the school. Led by the Data and Examinations Manager, the team oversees all aspects of data collection, reporting to parents, parents’ evenings, timetable and set changes, and the full examinations process. You will work closely with the Manager to support these key functions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellent communication across the academy. The team is further supported by a dedicated group of trained invigilators.

Professional development is a strong feature of the department. All administrative staff have access to high‑quality CPD, including training in the school’s MIS (Arbor), advanced Microsoft tools such as PowerBI, and on‑demand trust‑wide training created by colleagues across the organisation. Additional CPD from external service providers is also available and can be tailored to individual needs.
