We are seeking to appoint a Director of Rowing who will lead our school's rowing programme on and off the water from the start of the 2026 / 2027 rowing season.

We are looking for an inspiring leader with experience coaching rowing and working with young people. Leading a team of experienced and successful coaches, you will motivate and support our athletes while setting high standards for commitment, attitude, presentation and enthusiasm within the programme. The successful candidate will also provide the technical coaching direction and skill development for both rowers and the coaching team, while coaching one or more rowing squads.

The Director of Rowing is supported by an active and motivated committee and an experienced team of eight coaches. We are looking for someone who is collaborative, well organised, able to operate both strategically and operationally, and confident in communicating with a wide range of stakeholders. Our ideal candidate will be a passionate and capable leader with substantial experience in rowing and working with young people. This will include a fully registered teacher with strong rowing experience, or someone with proven experience coaching and leading rowing at a school or representative level.

This is a full time teaching opportunity with a 0.5 FTE time allowance for the role.
