Muscat International School by Amity seeks to appoint an outstanding Director of Sport to lead and shape the next stage of development of sport across the school.

The Role
The Director of Sport will provide strategic leadership for sport across the school and will be responsible for developing a clear vision for the growth of both competitive and participation sport.
The successful candidate will:
Lead and develop the school’s sporting quality and competition strategy.
Lead and develop the IGCSE, A Level and BTEC programmes
Inspire and manage the PE and sports staff team.
Oversee the delivery of a high-quality PE curriculum.
Develop an ambitious co-curricular sports programme.
Expand opportunities for fixtures, tournaments and inter-school competitions.
Promote student wellbeing, resilience and teamwork through sport.
Build a strong sporting identity and culture across the school community.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a candidate who:
Has significant experience within international or UK independent schools.
Has a proven track record of leading or developing successful school sports programmes.
Is passionate about developing elite performance and inclusive participation through quality experiences and competitions.
Demonstrates strong leadership, organisation and communication skills.
Can inspire students, staff and the wider community through sport.
