About This Role
Oliver Thomas Nursery School & Children’s Centre is a popular, inclusive and successful school serving a vibrant and diverse community in the heart of East Ham. We offer 180 part‑time places for 3‑ and 4‑year‑olds and 40 places for 2‑year‑olds, with work fully integrated with our children’s centre services. We work in partnership with families, external agencies, local settings and schools to ensure the very best outcomes for children and the wider community.
We are seeking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic Early Years Teacher for September 2026 who is:
Committed to an inclusive, play‑based approach where children lead their own learning
Experienced in working with 2‑, 3‑ and 4‑year‑olds
Able to work collaboratively as part of a team of early years educators
Skilled in building strong partnerships with mums, dads and carers
Confident in creating positive, well‑resourced learning environments
Reflective in practice and committed to ongoing professional development
