About This Role
We are looking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic person to join our highly successful and inclusive Sixth Form College. The successful candidate will be a committed, inspirational and dynamic individual with a passion for training young people to work in the Early Years sector.
Early Years is part of our highly successful Faculty of Social Sciences and Care. The curriculum area offers T Level Early Years, Level 2 Childcare and Health and Social Care. The curriculum area is well equipped with a range of specialist equipment and teaching areas. The successful candidate would take responsibility for delivering high quality training to students in placement settings including undertaking training observations of students. The successful candidate would also deliver relevant in college training sessions for T level students.
Itchen College is a thriving Sixth Form College with a broad curriculum offer to meet the needs of the local community. The college is situated in pleasant surroundings to the east of Southampton with excellent local transport links. Ofsted inspected the college in September 2024, grading overall provision as Outstanding with Outstanding Quality of Education, Outstanding Behaviour and Attitudes, Outstanding Leadership and Management, Outstanding Education Programmes for Young People and Outstanding Provision for Learners with High Needs.
