Let the uniqueness of the child guide our work
Ngā Tamariki Puāwai o Tāmaki | Auckland Kindergarten Association (AKA) is seeking a qualified and registered ECE kaiako to join Freemans Bay Kindergarten in a permanent, part-time (20 hours per week) position.
This is an opportunity to work within a highly regarded kindergarten alongside experienced kaiako committed to high-quality teaching and learning, strong relationships, and a kaupapa grounded in Te Whāriki.

Tamariki engage in recycling, reusing and caring for the natural environment. Learning through play is central, with literacy and numeracy meaningfully woven into everyday experiences and supported by a well-resourced library.

• Build strong relationships with tamariki, whānau and colleagues
• Contribute to a collaborative teaching team
We are looking for:
