ECE Teacher

An exciting opportunity has become available for a experienced and passionate teacher to join our early learning centre at Magical Years Childcare.

We are seeking a confident teacher who is experienced with a child-led philosophy. Our approach reflects in the centre practice where, nurture the child, relationships, belonging, and respect are at the heart of everything we do.  

This role is ideal for a confident and compassionate teacher with a strong growth mindset, someone who thrives on building connected and capable teams, and teaching intention.

We’re seeking a teacher who can inspire and empower their team, and consistently role-model exceptional teaching practice. 

This is a permanent, full-time role.

What we’re looking for:

• a registered and certified ECE teacher (Level 7)
• deep understanding of child development and responsive, relationship-based practice
• strong skills and the ability to develop and working in a team
• a growth mindset and confidence in the teaching practice 
• sound knowledge of Te Whāriki, ECE regulations, and compliance
• a collaborative team member.
