About This Role
Rosebank Early Childhood Centre is located inside the premises of Rosebank Primary School, Avondale. Our centre is licensed for 38 children and operates from 8am–4pm.
Our parents are our extended family, and the centre shares a reciprocal relationship with our whānau. Our team is built upon the 3 core values that our centre philosophy is based on i.e Alofa, Faaaloalo and Tautua. (Love, Respect and Service). We value our family time, and our management ensures we strike the right balance between personal and professional lives.

We are looking for a passionate ECE teacher to join our preschool area for a fixed term maternity contract.
About the role
- Fixed-term maternity cover starting April 20, 2026 to October 2026 onwards
- 25-30 hours a week

We are seeking someone who
- Knowledge of Pacific Language is a bonus
Is registered (or provisionally registered) with the Teaching Council of NZ - Builds positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Is energetic, organised, and a strong team player

What we’re looking for in you
- You are an ECE qualified and registered teacher with a current NZ provisional or full practising certificate, or a teacher in training, or close to completing your ECE teaching qualification
- You are committed to professional growth
- You are passionate about children and believe in Ako - learning together from each other.
- Knowledge of Pacific Language is an added bonus
