Responsibilities

  • Act at all times in a way which will not bring Pearson, its employees and its representatives into disrepute.
  • Read and follow all guidance sent to you prior to undertaking contracted activities.
  • Respect the confidentiality of centres and learners.
  • Attend meetings relevant to your role, where requested by Pearson.
  • Ensure that all tasks are completed to the deadline set.
  • Participate in training, where requested by Pearson.
  • Have personal IT equipment capable of running Pearson required software, relevant malware, appropriate virus protection software and a suitable internet connection and a personal, secure email account.
  • Carry out other tasks that are appropriate to the role and where requested by Pearson.
  • Collaborate and communicate in a timely manner with Pearson via email/phone/teams in carrying out all designated responsibilities.
  • Alert Pearson if you need to raise any safeguarding concerns or suspect malpractice and/or maladministration.
  • Engage in respectful, professional, and timely communication with Pearson and centres.

Specific Services

  • Provide expert feedback on trial proposals, report drafts, and operational recommendations to support ensuring all outputs meet quality assurance standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Review, and refine surveys and focus group surveys for teachers, learners, and subject matter experts to support robust qualitative and regulatory evidence is captured.
  • Advise on Operational Standards and Acceptability Thresholds.
  • Contribute to communication plans with regulators and stakeholders, review presentations and arguments, and support the sharing of research findings and project updates.

Experience/qualifications needed

  • Strong experience in education / skills delivery.
  • Hands‑on QA and assessment leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of Ofqual‑regulated environments.
  • Proven process improvement experience.
  • Credibility as a subject expert.

Compensation

€35,000 - €50,000 (Pre-Tax)
