We are seeking an Elementary School Student Affairs Coordinator to join our team as the Dean of Students. This role focuses on supporting the well-being, behavior management, and overall development of our elementary/primary school students within the framework of the IB PYP curriculum. The coordinator will work closely with teachers, parents, and administration to foster a positive school culture that promotes student growth and success.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 2 years experience working in student affairs or related roles in an educational setting
- Familiarity with IB PYP philosophy and practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage student behavior effectively using restorative approaches aligned with school policies
- Organizational skills for coordinating programs related to student welfare, attendance monitoring, counseling referrals, and extracurricular activities
- Problem-solving abilities to address student concerns proactively
