Our English Hub works with a large number of schools, overseen by the Strategic Hub Lead. The English hub programme is expanding next year and we are seeking to appoint an Early Years Support Programme Lead on the development of this new project.

We are looking for an outstanding practitioner/leader who is experienced and passionate about the power of communication, language and literacy, and developing others. The role would be suited to candidates with experience of teaching EYFS. Excellent subject knowledge in how pupils learn to speak, read and write will be essential.

The Role

  • Maintaining links with a number of schools whilst supporting them to develop the teaching and learning of oral language, vocabulary, comprehension and early writing.

  • Supporting schools with writing action plans, auditing their provision and implementing rapid change

  • Liaising with the Hub leadership team to write reports and collate the information needed to meet DfE submission deadlines

  • Maintaining communication with other English Hubs and across the Knowledge Schools Trust

  • Coordinating, designing and delivering CPD to schools

While this role will be based at the English Hub in West London, regular travel to schools across the Hub catchment area will be required.
