Job Title: Exams Access Arrangements Coordinator
Contract: Permanent, term time only plus inset days (39 weeks per year).
Hours: 14 hours per week (split over five days a week).
Salary: KSD (FTE £27,904, actual salary £9,203.09 per annum)
Responsible to: Assistant SENCO, SENCO, Exams department
We are genuinely excited to announce this brand-new role within our school.
We are seeking a proactive Exams Access Arrangements Coordinator to play a pivotal role in leading the strategic development of the school’s systems and procedures for identifying, assessing, and implementing Examination Access Arrangements (EAA), whilst ensuring the school remains fully compliant with JCQ regulations.
Overall Responsibility:
· Support the school’s SEND and Exams team to ensure internal and external exams are run efficiently and effectively for all our students who require exam access arrangements.
· Provide flexible, accurate and professional administrative support to ensure that every student has fair access to assessments in line with statutory guidelines.
· Work with teaching and support staff, as well as external bodies to manage, assess and implement exams access arrangements.
· Contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and young people with regard to the area child protection procedures.
The ideal candidate will:
· Experience working within a secondary school and with pupils with SEND.
· Excellent written skills, particularly for formal documentation.
· Proficiency with the use of computer technology, including Excel.
· Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and compliance.
· Effective communication skills with students, parents and staff.
The main site for TWGSB is in Tunbridge Wells. However, you may be required to work at other sites connected to TWGSB.
