Job Title: Exams Assistant
Contract: Permanent, Term-Time Only plus inset days (39 weeks per year) and up to 2 weeks during the exams results period in August (additional time paid on claim)
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
Salary: Kent Scale B (FTE £26,822 per annum, actual salary is £23,379.32)
Responsible to: Exams Officer, Senior Leadership Team
We are looking to appoint an Exams Assistant to join our well-respected and lively Support Team in supporting the management and organisation related to scheduled and mock examinations at TWGSB.
Overall Responsibility:
- Assist the Exams Officer with the effective running of the exam administration of all internal and external examinations within the school.
- Contribute to the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare and personal care of children and young people with regard to the area child protection procedures.
The successful candidate will assist in the efficient and effective running of the administration of all internal and external examinations within the school, including liaising with staff, students, invigilators and examination boards.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised with a high attention to detail, a co-operative team player, proactive and able to plan their work effectively over the exams cycle of the year.
The main site for TWGSB is in Tunbridge Wells. However, you may be required to work at other sites connected to TWGSB.
