  • Provide suitable academic challenges that enable each pupil to reach their potential.

  • Foster a positive, well-disciplined classroom environment.

  • Assess pupils' work effectively and provide constructive feedback.

  • Maintain up-to-date curriculum knowledge.

  • Communicate regularly with pupils, parents, colleagues, and senior leaders.

  • Contribute to the school’s extracurricular and enrichment programmes.

  • Undertake pastoral duties, including acting as a form teacher.

  • Support school-wide initiatives, events, and inter-house competitions.

  • Participate in professional development and training (INSET & CPD).

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • A DfE-recognised teaching qualification (B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE, or equivalent) in EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2 from a UK university.

  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching in a primary setting.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Passion for education and commitment to pupils’ success.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Desirable:

  • Recent teaching experience in the UK.

  • Experience teaching in a British curriculum school.

  • A willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities.

Please note: Due to Qatar’s work visa regulations, applicants must be under the age of 50.
