The Role

We are looking for an excellent facilities apprentice to support the work of the facilities team, gain skills, knowledge and experience and to complete the Facilities Apprenticeship Level 2 qualification.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the facilities team in ensuring the site is safe, clean and well kept, meeting statutory requirements at all times.
• Work alongside the facilities team in order to develop general maintenance skills.
• Be aware of and abide by the schools’ health and safety procedures and policies.
• Undertake any other relevant duties as may reasonably be requested by the Facilities Manager or Senior Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• Experience of physical work, including working inside and out; willingness to learn and develop within the role of facilities.
• The post holder must be a strong team player and be able to establish effective working relationships with other team members, students, parents, leaders, support staff and outside agencies.
