About This Role

Due to the continued success of our GEMS Wesgreen Internation School, Sharjah we are looking to recruit Female PE Teacher to start in August 2026.


This is a fantastic opportunity for an ECT to gain valuable international exposure, or for more experienced teachers to take the next step in their career with a global leading company and within a world-class International School.


We are British Schools Overseas (BSO) accredited gaining Outstanding judgements in all standards, allowing us to offer the NQT, QTS and iPGCE programmes to our teachers through the TES Institute.

Successful candidates will need to:

  • Hold a BEd or Bachelors degree in Physical Education with PGCE / PGDE or equivalent

  • Have the ability to share exemplary teaching practices.

  • A creative and enthusiastic approach, both inside and outside the classroom.

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students and parents

  • Have a proven track record of providing outstanding learning & teaching

  • Have aspiration to work in a world-class school with real prospects for enhancing their career

  • Be willing to make a positive contribution to our school community and culture through active engagement in our extra-curricular programme and community-based events.

  • Collaborate with departmental colleagues to elevate instructional strategies.

Candidate Requirements

  • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 2 years verifiable post-qualification teaching experience.
  • Demonstrable track record of excellent student outcomes.
  • A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
  • Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
