The Governing Board is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-qualified female teacher of Physical Education to join the Physical Education Department from September 2026.

The role requires a female candidate whose duties will include the supervision of the female-only changing rooms.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and suitably qualified teacher of Physical Education who is keen to play a proactive, collaborative role in developing the department further in the school.  This role includes teaching PE lessons in both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, as well as mixed classes (boys & girls) in Key Stage 4. This role also includes teaching AQA GCSE PE classes, for both theory and practical lessons.

 

The successful candidate will model at least good teaching practice and will be able to engage and inspire students of all abilities both in and out of lessons. Within the PE Department, this will also include leading after school fixtures in several different sports, as well as a wide variety of different after-school sports clubs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach PE lessons in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Supervise female-only changing rooms.
  • Lead after school fixtures and sports clubs.
  • Teach AQA GCSE PE classes, both theory and practical.

Qualifications

  • Qualified teacher status in Physical Education.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and engaging students.
  • Ability to inspire students of all abilities.

Compensation

€35,000 - €50,000 (Pre-Tax)
