About This Role

Are you the kind of educator who believes childhood should feel exciting, joyful and just a little bit magical? Do you love the idea of working in a school where curiosity is encouraged, muddy knees are celebrated, and children are genuinely known as individuals?

If so, you may feel very at home at Alleyn Court.

We are looking for a Level 3 Forest School Leader to deliver 20 Forest School sessions across the summer term (equivalent to 10 days of teaching). We can be flexible about how this is arranged – for example, as a regular weekly slot, a series of blocked days, or a combination to suit both school needs and the successful candidate’s availability.

Alleyn Court Preparatory School is a thriving independent day school for children aged 2 to 11, set in beautiful grounds including onsite woodland, a lake and extensive outdoor learning spaces. Forest School is a core part of our curriculum from Nursery to Year 6, not an optional extra – and we are looking for a passionate Forest School Leader / Teacher to help us take this provision even further.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner who believes, wholeheartedly, in the power of outdoor learning to build confidence, resilience and a deep connection with the natural world.

Apply exclusively via the WhatSchool platform.
