About This Role
Windsor School is a coeducational day school located in New Providence, The Bahamas. We are currently seeking a full-time teacher with a specialization in French and Spanish to join our community for the 2026–2027 school year. We welcome energetic, creative, and adventurous educators who are excited to help shape all aspects of our seven-year, progressive, mastery-based language program.
Position Overview
Language teachers at Windsor typically teach 5 to 6 classes, representing approximately 15–18 hours of face-to-face instruction, with a comparable amount of preparation time. Courses range from Grade 6 through Grade 10.
For the 2026–2027 school year, the successful candidate will likely teach 2 French classes (primarily middle school) 3 Spanish classes (primarily upper school)What We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Education, French, Spanish, or a related field
Previous teaching experience, preferably at the middle or high school level
Native or near-native fluency in French or Spanish, with a genuine love for the language and its cultures
A strong enthusiasm for working with middle and high school students (language teachers teach across multiple grade levels)
Creativity and flexibility in lesson design, using authentic materials rather than a textbook: This includes games, videos, music, and interactive activities that engage students while maintaining clear structure and learning goals
Strong technology skills, with daily use of Google Classroom and related digital tools
A positive, collaborative mindset and willingness to work closely with colleagues and a sincere desire to contribute to school life beyond the classroom, including clubs, lunchtime activities, and community events
