Position: French Teacher - Primary

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate French Teacher for our Elementary/Primary School department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching the French language to primary level students using an international curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver engaging and effective French language lessons across all primary year groups, fostering a love for the language and culture.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive French curriculum that aligns with our school’s vision and values.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to express themselves in French.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate French language learning across the curriculum and enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help each child flourish in their language skills.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents and the wider school community to promote the importance of language learning.

Skills and Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a French teacher at the primary level
  • Native French speaker, fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain discipline while creating a positive learning environment
