About St. George’s School
For 40 years, St. George’s has been serving the international community in Germany, across the Cologne, Düsseldorf Rhein-Ruhr and Munich regions. Our school group has grown from small beginnings into a thriving network of over 2000 students, aged 2 to 18, representing a broad range of nationalities.
We offer a dynamic and enriching curriculum based on the National Curriculum for England, leading up to the IB Diploma Programme in the Sixth Form. As a school, we are committed to academic excellence, holistic student development and a strong sense of community.
The Role

Experienced in teaching German to a diverse range of learners, whether first-language or foreign-language students.

All applicants should hold a valid teaching qualification. We consider a degree in education (e.g. B.Ed./M.Ed./Lehramt), or postgraduate teaching certificate (e.g. PGCE) as valid. English language teaching certificates (e.g. TEFL/IELTS/CELTA) are not sufficient.

Candidate Requirements
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years verifiable post-qualification teaching experience.
- Demonstrable track record of excellent student outcomes.
- A bachelor's degree directly related to your teaching specialization.
- Clear criminal record check spanning the last 10 years of residency.
