About This Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Grade 9 & 10 Teacher for Mathematics and Business Studies to join our dedicated team. This position offers the opportunity to teach UK-GCSE curriculum at the High/Secondary School level, focusing on advanced-level subjects within the Mathematics department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Mathematics and Business Studies aligned with the UK-GCSE curriculum.
- Plan, prepare, and assess student work to support academic progress.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop teaching strategies and contribute to departmental goals.
- Monitor student performance, provide feedback, and communicate progress with parents as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum qualification of Graduate Certificate or higher in Education or relevant subject areas.
- At least 5 years of teaching experience, preferably within secondary school settings.
- Strong knowledge of UK-GCSE curriculum requirements for both Mathematics (Advanced Level) and Business Studies.
- Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to use technology effectively as part of teaching practice.
