About This Role

As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for the delivery of an efficient grounds’ maintenance service to open spaces, sports pitches and surfaces, gardens, borders and woodland areas at St George’s Weybridge.

 

The Role

You’ll be working within our Georgian community, so you’ll need to have a great level of customer service, a positive approach to your work and be self-sufficient, as well as working independently and flexibly, you will also work within the wider Grounds and Estates teams. In addition, you will have a good knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislation in respect of gardening, grounds maintenance activities and machinery.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery of efficient grounds’ maintenance service.
  • Maintenance of open spaces, sports pitches, gardens, borders, and woodland areas.
  • Providing excellent customer service within the community.
  • Working independently and flexibly as part of the Grounds and Estates teams.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation.
